Hi all,

I bought a used depoded Altec Lansing iM716 used here a few years ago. I really like the sound, comfort, fit using the triple flange modded to double flange, and isolation. Unfortunately, the cable outer insulation started to crack in various places and I can see the inner cable. It is still working but I think it will eventually breaks. Now my question is, where can I recable this in USA? How much would it cost to recable it? Anyone willing to do it? I am not planning to use ultra expensive cable. Any cable that is comparable to depoded original cable should be fine as long as it is durable. Alternatively, I can buy an IEM that is similar to it. What is a comparable IEM in terms of sound, comfort, fit, and isolation?

Thanks!
