Hey Miguel,

A little on the bottom end. I have a 22awg one made up, if I ever get caught up I can send you both and you can tell us... if you want.

I've been in touch with Decur, who is listening to Ken's HD800 cables (the OCC copper and the SXC) with his HD800s. He mentioned that he'll be posting about them (as well as his Isabellina HPA, which is burning-in) soon enough - he is just putting them through their paces, but his immediate impressions of Ken's HD800 cables were along the lines of:

"both cables completely deal with the weaknesses of the stock cable(tinny highs and lack of bass and richness)"

and

"first thought is that the stock cable is a piece of crap and such a mismatch for these great phones!"

Of course after meeting with Decur (http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f70/to...e-cans-440020/) not to long ago - I wish we had the ALO HD800 cables for that listening session! Doh!

Really looking forward to hearing them, Ken!!! Sounds like you are going to be really busy making them!

Now I am borrowing both the SXC and OCC cables for the HD800s - the stock cable really does sound bad in comparison. I'm really loving the OCC. More bass, very extended top-end that is less "sterile" sounding - nice!

I received my balanced SXC cable yesterday. I just want to thank you for such a great product. I listened for a couple of ours last night and if I had to sum it up in one work, musical comes to mind. In fact I really had to make myself stop listening so I could get some sleep!
