FYI: There is no reason to worry, if you get a pop-up screen on your 3G iPhone, when you plug in the ALO SXC 18G LOD.

In fact, the screen says:
"You will not be able to use the phone feature"

According to my nephew, the Bose engineer, that is an idle threat, a marketing ploy to entice the 3rd party developers to "register" with Apple.

He says it works fine, unless you set your phone to airport mode (I haven't tested the phone feature while using the LOD, but it sure does make the music sound "purdy").

ummmm yeah this has been known for quite some time. its still annoying though that message. but you can actually do anything you want with your phone if you ignore the message. but then later on it'll pop up again. the music doesnt stop though. and the phone and everything continues to work if you ignore. your phone calls will be patched to the normal speaker or a bluetooth headset if you have one. you will be prompted to choose when a call comes in.
