I just got my pk3's in the mail. Do u guys use the little foam earphone donut cover or just stick them in ur ear as they are?

Is there a benefit?

i do not use any foams, that is just my preference, i think from other threads i've read the majority prefer the donuts

The foam pads are a necessity with the Yuins. It completely changes the sound (I didnt believe it would at first, but it did). Just try it out and you'll see it sounds much, much better with foams.

If you don't want bass or mids, go without them. If you want overpowering bass (the PK3's Achilles heel) use them as they are. If you want a more balanced sound, use the "donuts". If you are not sure, just try.

This depends mostly on ears shape/size, so the best way is to try yourself. Proper general thoughts are listed in previous message though.
