Im looking for a good Dac for my second Headphone Setup. For reference: I know a few R2R Dacs, but currently use the smsl vmv d1se in my main system. Balanced inputs would be nice, but are not a must. I also don't need an incredibly analytical and resolved Dac. If he plays on the “musical” side I would be happy too.
You are using an out of date browser. It may not display this or other websites correctly.
You should upgrade or use an alternative browser.

The SMSL D-6S is what I'm using and it's amazing for $200. Topping E50 is also great too.

A used SMSL M400 might do the trick.

Chord Mojo 2. Bought mine on classifieds at $400 USD.
It has good power on tap, with a warm neutral tuning. Has EQ available and some crossfeed stuff.
Only thing is the UI using the glowing balls takes a bit to get used to.
