I'll get in touch then, ought to be no reason not to ship a couple of DAC3 modules then
Heck, they are so close I can drive over to pick them up.

God Speed! We all wait for your verdict :)

Just bought the DAC3 adagio. did anyone try the dac3 metrum here?

No-one has tried any DAC3 Metrum product that posts here. How much was the DAC3 Adagio? Normal price or extra?

I live in Nijmegen, next to Den Bosch where Sonnet Audio/Metrum houses. Tomorrow I give them a call. Maybe I can drop my DAC to have the dac2 modules changed for 3's.

I did some marching around there. Small World :)

Nice!
I suggest you burn it it for a serious amount of hours prior to making any conclusions. North of 200-300 hours!

1200 Euro upgrade. Hmm...I'll wait and see what others think first.

Yeah that makes sense for the outlay involved....Problem is that I think it is hard to extrapolate results from lesser models as I expect the differences to become smaller the more DAC modules you already have, as in the law of diminishing returns....going from 23.5 to 23.8 bit is likely a larger step than going from 23.8 to 24 as it was in the good old days of going from 14 bits to barely hitting 16 bits...BTW; the website is not yet updated, neither is there a paper on what the modules do differently..we'll see, shortly
