The other day something rather unfortunate happened: my hard drive containing all of my mp3s suddenly went dead and needless to say, all my mp3s are now gone. From my computer at least. I have them all on my Ipod, but that damn Steve Jobs won't let me download them from the Ipod back to my new hard drive. Does anyone know of any third party software that would allow me to do this on a Windows computer?? This would be of great help to me since I don't really want to re-rip hundreds of CDs. Thanks in advance.

Head over to http://www.ipoding.com or http://www.ipodlounge.com. There are about 56 different programs on the Mac to get the files off the iPod so I gotta think there are a least a couple for Windows.
