Hi Folks

I need some recommendations regarding audio editing / burning / organising software.

I've been doing quite a bit of Minidisc recording recently, and the situations come to something of a head.

What I typically do is the following:

Upload from a deck in digital using CDWAVE.
Auto-Split it using CDWAVE.
Play with it if necessary in Cool Edit Pro.
Enter the recorded sound in RealJukebox Plus, my main media organiser.

After that, of course I want to burn it to CD - so I pick the tracks in RealJukeBox and burn.

Problems are:
Very fragmented procedure means further time wastage to the joke real-time Minidisc uploads.
Different tracks from different discs have different volume levels, which sounds shocking once on one CD.

What I'm looking for is one easy to use, reliable program to record, edit, catalogue, and burn (with automatic level equalisation). I don't mind paying a few hundred bucks for it. Is there such a program?
