[size=small]From research on past threads, I see that both DanG and Vka appear to prefer the MS Pro to both the RS-1 and the HP-1/1000 cans.

This only leaves the obvious: who is going to volunteer to A|B the MS Pros against any of the leading headphones out there?

Vka prefers his hp-2's to msp's.

I just let him borrow the pair before I sold them to a member on this site.


I was just the opposite. I prefered the msp's to the hp-2s when he let me borrow him.

Our systems are different however, which im sure influenced our decisions.

[size=small]Interesting! I was under the impression the HP1/1000's were preferred to the HP-2's.

I am just wondering whether it's possible to get a modern set of cans that are competitive or even superior to the legendary HP-1/1000's.

It would also be interesting to see how the MSP's stack up against today's top dynamic phones (e.g., the K1000's, the CD3000's the ATH A1000/W1000/W2002's, the HD600's).
