So I've got the Alessendro MS1i with stock comfies.
 
What I dislike about them - Vague soundstage. Midbass is occasionally a little too powerful. 
What I like about them - Everything else. 
 
Which cushions should I replace the comfies with?

Get the official Grado L cushions. That should solve both of your problems, and will give you the 'real' Grado sound!

Bought em.
Kinda steep at 30$, but its all i could find at a brick and mortar store.
 
Sounds great.
 
Soundstage is still vague, but theres a slightly better sense of distance. Imaging is almost worse, especially with larger orchestral pieces.
 
Everything else is has improved massively.
 
Comfort is meh.
