Hey.

I'm one step away from buying these headphones, I just wanted to ask a couple of questions...

1) For anyone in the UK, how much tax were you charged and what was the total cost of getting the phones?

2) What kind of guarantee do you get with them?

3) Are they the kind of headphones that are likely to break? My big worry is getting them shipped to the UK and then finding they break a few months down the line.

4) and on that note are they/would they be easy to get fixed if anything did go wrong?

Thanks to anyone that helps me out!

From another thread that popped up quite recently on the MS1s (should be easy to find), it was about ~£20 once Royal Mail, Parcelforce and Alistair Darling have each nicked a bit.

They took ten days to arrive, cost £17.50 vat and PO collection charge(!?!).
Not a lot to go wrong, would have to run over them with a tank to do more damage than you could easily fix.

Is that a collective price (ie. VAT+PO = £17.50) - or was the PO collection charge more money on top of the £17.50?

cheers all, keep the replies coming.

One more question if you can allow me to slightly hijack this thread:

How fast do these ship internationally? To Canada to be precise.

About two weeks.

£17.50 was the full charge, the robbing ba**erds. Still, total price of £83.50
was worth it IMO. Mind you ,have now sold them and woodied my 80i's with the money. Funny old world ain't it.

The standard 1 year warranty [by Grado?]. Not sure though. Email them; they respond faster than phone calls.

Not really. The only problem are the rods, which you can reglue back.

For you, I don't know. For U.S. citizens, it's probably easier.
