Has anyone found local merchants who sell Alessandro headphones? I live in the suburbs of Chicago and would love to demo them before I buy, but can't find them anywhere. Has anyone found them at a store or just mailordered and prayed?

i think you can only buy them direct from the company or from some on this forum.

They are available only from Alessandro's website.
(there is mention that they are available from another source online but there are some doubts as to their credibility)
Email them about possible demo models for sale.

Is there any sort of a resale market for them (other than head-fi)? It seems that nobody outside of head-fiers has heard of them . . . I've been looking for a used set for a while with no luck.
