hello headfi.

i have an older pair of alesandro ms-pro's (came in a wodden box) and i am having a problem with them.

recently the cable has become VERY stiff in a section betweent he "split" and the earcups. it is about the center 4 inches or so. the "sound" of the headp[hones has not changed as this bit of cable has stiffened. but i sould still like to know: has anyone else experienced a similar occurance? perhaps this is just another reason for me to recable them. there has always been a little "rubbing noise" of the cable on the wood holes when i move my head....

My guess is the cables got twisted and/or bunched up a bit under the outer sheathing. It may work itself out or you might have to massage it out, and if that doesn't work and it still bugs you, then you might as well do a recable.
