Albums and Headphones that are killer combos

Basically all rock with the KSC75, but especially "old" rock like Guns 'N' Roses, Pink Floyd, Def Leppard etc. Audioslave also very good on these.

My other "main headphone" is the HD205 which I use to listen to hip-hop. Especially Ice Cube latest Laugh Now, Cry Later is very enjoyable on these

Oh and let's not forget the hip-hop remixes album by Ratatat + their early demo thing "9 beats"

Now seriously, Bjork has some interesting tunes for headphones in general. Pretty much all in Vespertine, but in particular: Crabcraft (I keep thinking some recurrent "tshhhhhh" effects in Crabcraft might come from a binaural recording); An Echo, a Stain; Frosti; and Sun in My Mouth (that title always visually reminds me of the ending in The 5th Element - an image that is not totally unrelated to the lyrics in the song btw, semantically speaking)

Grado SR225: The Microphones - "The Glow, Pt. 2"
V-Moda Vibes: Christ - "Blue Shift Emissions"
HD580: Guided by Voices - "Alien Lanes"

Camera Obscura + W5000 (+ M^3). The slightly exaggerated female vocals and Grado-ish body of the guitar on the W5000 work here.

Edit: Let's Get Out of This Country specifically, but really any album.

Qualia 010 and Isis-In the Absence of Truth go together like bread and butter. The mastering on the album is slightly superior to the music and whoever said metal doesn't have a soundstage...this is a sonic landscape.

if you see a guy wearing super.fi 5 pro's on the NYC subway tapping his foot and bobbing his head, it's probably me listening to this fantastic combination.

Great album, it's what got me going on to explore his other albums, are IEMs good for for his albums? seems like quite an interesting combo
