So I think I burnt my right k601 driver recabling them...so I send them an email from the link on the akg site and I get this:

Quote:

Thanks for your inquiry. This is a JBL PRO product. JBL PRO is a different division from JBL Consumer. Please check out their website at JBL Professional. It is likely that you will find your answer there. If you are not able to find your answer, you can shoot them an email, or call them at 1-800-852-5776. They will be able to help you with this.

Then I went and filled out the form on AKGs website and got the same thing back.

I realize that JBL and AKG are part of Harman group but I can't find anything on the JBL site that would help me. I'd try the number but I don't really have time to be on hold.

Has anyone gotten replacement drivers from AKG?

You think she would still be able to help even though I'm in the USA?

When I called the number they gave me, I got put on hold, then transferred to a line that rang and nobody answered.

Frank Rodriguez retired from AKG Customer Support in March 2015. According to an automated reply from Frank, for replacement parts, including earpads, contact David Wheeler (David.Wheeler@harman.com; 818-895-3417) or Hector Hernandez (Hector.hernandez2@harman.com; 818-920-3237).
