Just when i am done and dusted with this hobby, AKG teases me with the K812. Cant wait for launch and glad it is not a celeb endorsed headphone. Hope AKG comes out with a cooler presentation movie like the one for HD800.

No velour pads? Well, then AKG should release something REVOLUTIONARY to convince me... (read more neutral, more spacious/3D-like and more comfortable than HD800, at least)
 
Maybe something like built-in DSP / binaural processing?

Also, the pads are non user-replaceable.
Includes a blue cable with push button for LED grill lights. Not compatible with Android devices.
 
PS Quincy Jones just got fired! It's all over CNN. Q701 is discontinued!
