AKG K712 Pro -- what is the headband made of and what material/wire connects the left to the right side? Anyone have experience with premium cables for this headphone and whether they provide benefits to the right side equal to the left (given that extra wire of some sort, probably not premium, runs to the right side)?

Thanks.

Might be leather but I don't know for sure. I believe the part number is 2458M98080. Full Compass stocks it so they might know the answer.

I'm not talking about the part that touches your head, I'm talking about the wire or electrical connector that runs from the left to the right side in the springy wires/plastic. Copper wire? Is the springy stuff made of steel? It seems to be plastic so there must be some kind of wire inside.
