Hi

Because of the torture bumps (the one in the middle in particular) on the AKG K701 headband, it gets a bit painful to wear them for too long.
Does anyone have an idea for a modification of the headband? The K601 headband looks pretty nice, but I suppose it is not possible to put one on the K701. Cutting the bumps off with a sharp knife, is also unacceptable for me, so what to do? Here is my temporary arrangement (NOT very stylish!)

good idea, i'll give it a try. i think extended use of that headband will lead to head reshaping. i grew bigger hair just because of that headband

Yes, the Grado´s are painful for the ears, and the K701 is painful for the head. Amazing that the manufacturers can´t get it right the first time. A headphone has to sound good, and have good comfort.
