I'm interested in these, seems like they are easy powered which was one of my concerns as I'd plan to use digiZoid ZO with them to take care of my bass cravings. So how do you find AKG K 550 comparing to K 271 MKII especially in midrange?
 
Versus M-Audio Q40 I'm using I'd be looking for a slightly more forward lower-midrange and airier soundstage, seems like this could fit the bill as long as I give it a slight bass boost.
