I did a quick search for these on google shopping and it showed a price of arounf $169, but on Ebay, it seems that they seem to be going for around $75 with free shipping.

That seems to be a pretty big discrepancy-- are the ones on Ebay legit?

They are. There was a thread just a few days ago about them available on Ebay.

I got K450s from a legitimate shop in the UK for 49.99 (around $80)

Man, that sure seems a great deal! I'm looking for something for unamped, closed use that can be sort of bang-around and these look pretty nice.

I got them and I am plenty happy with them. Great cans for the price.

I picked up a pair on Ebay for $75 shipped. They were the real thing. I would never pay any more then $75 for these. I don't find the sound much better then the previous AKG portables these replaced and the build quality is about what you'd expect for the $75 range. But like I've seen others mention here, for $75 this is a decent portable everyday type headphone.
