I'm looking for some good in ears for my commuting trip (both tube and airplane). They are all around the same price with the sony's being 15 pounds cheaper (between the 30 and 45 pound range).
I'm quite fond of Sony, they never let me down on their premium products, hence the reason I'm considering the XBA-1. However I'm mainly looking for noise cancelling earphones (especially on the plane a good thing), although i do acknowledge that a good seal already isolates you a fair bit from noise. (just not enough for planes and tubes). I currently have the MDR-1RBT for my winter commute (i love that headphone). and a PFR-V1 at home (pretty much the best sound you can wish for.
I'm open to suggestions, but currently I don't see a lot of options for noise cancelling in ears, and Sony doesn't have much options in the 30-45 pound range (it's either 30 or it jumps up to 70 pounds, which is a bit much for me to consider).
any suggestions?
