I got these AKG K340 IEMs a few years ago and really haven't been that pleased with them.  I just got some Panasonic HJE120s for my wife and I honestly like them better than my AKGs.  Now I'm looking at getting some cheap IEMs like the JVC FX40 or Panasonic HJE355 for myself to replace my AKGs.  The AKG K340s just seem so muddy on the low end and the treble is really lacking.  The worst part about the K340s is the cable.  It is way too short for me (I'm 6'4") and can't have my mp3 player in my pocket without pulling the IEMs out of my ears.  The cable is also very "springy" and has terrible microphonics.  I've searched around and can't really find anything on the internet about these.  Not the best for the price in my opinion.
