Hey there,

Can someone who owns a pair of k271s' or k240s' (if they're the same size) measure the diameter of the can for me? Specifically the diameter of the housing where the earpad is holding on?

I'll give you some approximate diameters:

pads, exterior dimension: 4 1/8"
pads, interior dimension: 3 1/4"
housing, including lip: between 4 1/32" and 4 1/16" (closer to 1/16 I think, about 4 inches + 1mm (only have my Leatherman handy so its hard to be terribly precise))
lip that holds the pads on: appears to be about 1/8" thick

and the K240S and K271S do appear to be identical in housing diameter.
