I'm curious too, I think i'm going to get a pair of these headphones some time soon and I'm sure that itts only a matter of time till I get the upgrade bug.

It looks like a simple Canare Star Quad recable. It's a very good cable, not too expensive. They also use that for K1000 extension cable that should be good quality. No idea what the sonic EQ effect might be though.
