So the pads on my pair have reached the end of their journey. I've tried to order replacements through the local AKG distributor in Macedonia, but all pleads have turned up nothing.
 
Any ideas where I could get some replacements?

Have a look at www.rw-soundsystem.de or just mail them at AKG@rw-soundsystem.de with your request.
Just use google translation and have a look for 'Ersatzteile' meaning spares.

Prices for the temple pads (each for the pair) should be about as follows, plus shipping and afaik they ship internationally:

 You can pull the pads off and open up the leather to replace the foam,just a case of sticking them back together.
 
There was an article on doing this but do not remember which thread it was in.
