Hello, with a multimeter I determined I have a serious problem w/half my stereo image. Open btwn ring and sleeve and 60 ohms w/ tip and sleeve. Can I order parts for these? Do I have to battle my way thru some bloated corporation's idea of a help page or is it simple enough that a music store electronics dept could do it? Does anyone know if AKG will ship parts to repair places? On line "help" pages put me into fury gridlock.
Sorry for the anger but there is no reason for these to fail. Or have 712s been around for ages? Somewhere I got the idea they were fairly recent. I bought them used and they sounded very good for the last three or four months.
