Ii think I posted in the wrong place before.I am currently using AKG 3003i which I am very pleased with.I use the AKG solely out of my iPhone 6 Plus.I am considering Shure 846 as I feel I need some more isolation.My question is simply would the Shure 846 easily drive the iPhone 6 Plus without the aid of an amp which I have no intention of using.Bearing in mind my iPhone 6 Plus is EU volume capped the specs of both IEMs would suggest that AKG is considerably louder,is this the case?Would I notice difference?AKG impedance 8 Shure 9,sensitivity AKG125db Shure 114db.Any advice would be much appreciated.
