They started selling the smartwraps in Apple stores. I picked up a 3-pack recently when my black one got lost. It's nice to have the KSC-35 back under control!

I haven't experienced much of the burn-in effect; usually I just keep listening, but I haven't been using the K26P at all.

Now that you remind me, I'll be putting the K26P into a drawer for a few days.
Hope the muddiness will be reduced.

I think burn-in may really help these cans. When I first got them I posted that when amped they sounded too "phat." But now a week or so later I don't hear that any more.

I don't think it's just acclimation effect. I haven't worn them much. Mostly coworkers have, and it's getting increasingly difficult to get them back from them...

I don't know if anyone else did this, but when i first bought it, i listened to the live recording of Hotel California. It did sound a bit less clear than the px200 that i listened ( a friend's - burned in ). Then i hooked the headphones to my laptop and played music thru it for about 60 hrs over a period of 4-5 days without listening to it. And then when i listened to Hotel California again after that, it sounded awesome.

I've also discover that the band is easier to set a month after buying them. At first it snaps back to the smallest position. When new, it's easier to put it to the largest position, put it on your head and then make it smaller as oppose to the opposite ( you lose hair ).

I just noticed this on AKG's New Products page: the AKG K 28 NC. It looks like an active-noise-reduction version of the K 26 P. Sweet!

Here's the description:
- Integrated active noise reduction
- Airplane and stereo adapter included
- 3D-Axis (unique folding mechanism)
- Approx. 40 hours playing time with low battery warning
- Belt clip for convenient storage
- Carrying bag included

Forget the noisy part of traveling.

The K 28 NC turns every trip by plane, train, or bus into a relaxed listening session. An integrated active noise reduction filter reduces noise-related stress to a minimum: for fatigue-free, restful traveling.

The K 28 NC provides excellent comfort and, thanks to the unique 3D-Axis folding mechanism, takes up almost no space in your traveling bag.
