Here's my dilemma, I am looking for a pair of over the ear headphones to become more immersed in my music. A warm noticeable low and crisp high that still maintains a solid mid, is my preference.

I do not necessarily want headphones with extended low frequencies, but that have the capability to get low. Aside from being a DJ I also play acoustic guitar and like warm tones most likely because of that. Overall, I like a to hear a clear spectrum of sound with a little warmth.

Price range:  $50 - $150
(range starts at 50 because I heard the
Superlux HD 668B were great for their price)

Headphones that I'm trying to pick from

AKG K 240  - Semi Open - 15 to 25kHz - 55 ohms

AKG K 240 MK II  - Semi Open - 15 to 25kHz - 55 ohms

AKG K171 MKII  - Closed - 18 to 26kHz - 55 ohms

AKG K 271 MK II  - Closed - 16 to 28kHz - 55 ohms

Audio-Technica ATH-M50  - Closed - 15 to 28kHz - 38 ohms

Fostex T50RP (diy mod)  - Semi Open - 15 to 35kHz - 50 ohms

KOSS Pro DJ 200  - Closed - 10 to 25kHz - 38 ohms

Shure SRH 750 DJ  - Closed - 5 to 30kHz - 32 ohms

Sony MDR V6  - Closed - 5 to 30kHz - 63 ohms

Sony MDR 7510  - Closed - 5 to 40kHz - 24 ohms
( not very reviewed )

Sony MDR ZX700  - Closed - 5 to 40kHz - 24 ohms

Superlux HD 668B - Semi Open - 10 to 30kHz - 56 ohms

greatly appreciate anyone that is able to narrow down my choice!

Heya,

The K240 MKII would be my pick for your purposes out of that line up. I would get a separate phone for DJing. You don't need anything special for DJing honestly, just something with good form factor, durability, solid cable, isolation, and folding/swivel. You can get inexpensive ones that perform just fine for live DJ events. I would focus that budget more on the home listening device if you want to immerse yourself. DJing headphones have poor sound stages, and imaging really, they don't need it, since they're designed and tuned to be used around loud sound anyways (I've never felt immersion from a DJ monitor, but that's just me).

Very best,
