I will connect my external sound card(M-audio Firewire Audiophile) to my old amplifier Akai Am-55(1993). I wonder if anyone knows about the quality of D/A converter of this amp. I am curious if it is worth to buy a digital coax cable to connect to my sound card. Or is the Audiophile's D/A converter equivalent to my amp's. Any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks...
