Am struggling with this: Even if I only add +2dB to 120 for a little kick--and leave the other frequencies alone--it seems to suck some of the life out of the music. If I use any of the presets, it sucks even more life out. Is that due to the EQ's limitations (e.g., no adjustable Q factor and only being 10-band EQ)?
 
If you own an AK100II/120II, and you use the EQ, what settings do you use? Esp. interested in your settings for rock, metal, and dance. Thanks.

I had the AK100II and now 240. My attempts to get a little more on the low end (Grado low end issues) the results were disappointing. I tried lowering all the other settings, presets Etc with no luck.
