Hey guys,

I'm running Apple Lossless (convereted from FLAC) through iTunes (love the interface), to a DAC Magic (toslink) and a Glite (soon). Is it worth it to get a Airport Express to get true "bit perfect" sound? I'm using Windows Vista so from what I've read the signal is being altered by Kmixer. Is it a noticable enough difference to warrant another $100 in components and another link in the chain.

No.....I don't want to try and use multi-patch with iTunes 7.x.......

I say it is.
The AirPort Express is a really nice little unit, allowing bit-perfect optical S/PDIF output for your DAC.
