So I got the mac mini and airport express and I was in a for a nasty surprise. As far as I can tell, the audio isn't encrypted over the network and the airport express doesn't differentiate where it is coming from, so if I have my window open, and stop itunes for 1 second, it picks up a different signal and won't let me start itunes again until that one stops. Is there anyway to override this? I don't want to keep my window closed all summer.

"War blasting" or what is that?

There is an ID-number on the base of your APX, usually you should be able to (adding to the password) limit the IDs that are allowed to see and connect to your wireless network.
