I'm getting on a plane tommorow for a little trip to Virginia. So when I go through security are they going to think my Cmoy is a bomb!? (If they do they are getting slapped with Darth Beyers)

Anyone ever taken a portable amp into an aiport and gotten harassed?

Yes people have had CMOYs confiscated. I wouldn't bring one on a plane - especially if you're flying from SC to VA - what's that, like a 20 minute flight?

I can see the TSA getting very, very nervous over a CMOY. I can see the TSA not responding well to being slapped with anything, much less Darth Beyers. Of course, it isn't as bad as when the National Guard was called up to handle airport security, but the TSA can be a bit prickly.

leave that cmoy at home. mine got confiscated on my friend's honeymoon.

Its a one stop flight via 2 smaller planes, so the "in-air" time is pretty significant. i wouldnt bother if it was 20 mins, but my itenerary (sp) says around 3 hours

but what if you have your mp3 player and amp inside your carry-on bag? would they still confiscate it? I'm gonna be travelling a few months from now, and my flight would be around 14-16 hours. I would just like to listen to my headphones during the flight.
