I am new to the headphone amp world and am thinking about getting a protable amp for my minidisc player. Is there a big difference between the sound quality in the new airhead and total airhead? I am wondering if I should invest the extra $50 dollars for the Total?

I do most of my listening to the 540II's at home on a Sharp SD-SG11 and the 125's from my portable mini disc player. I have yet to find out any information on the output (power) from the SD-SG11, it is rated at 16 to 50ohms. I am assuming that the Sennheisers would benifit from the use of an Airhead (at home) and the grado's would also benifit from the Airhead on the road. I am just wondering if I would benifit from the Total Airhead over the Airhead.
