I currently own the JBL LSR305s and have been using just a 3.5 mm headphone to 2x TS to connect them to my laptop and iPhone until I could get a DAC/Amp or an AI. Just wondering if you have found a solution to your problem and how it works.

Also wondering if I got the FiiO E10K could I simply plug that into my computer then plug the speakers into the rear 3.5 mm using me current 3.5 mm to 2x TS or if this is primarily for headphones?

There is a line output on the back of the E10K which is designed for hooking up to external amplified devices, like your speakers.
