Gullanian, I see it looks like you solved the problem
. I had the exact same experience and pulled my hair out for weeks
trying to solve before I realized it was my wireless network and bluetooth that was causing the exact same popping you were having. I was just about to give up trying to get good clean sound out of my Dell 9300 laptop using Foobar 2k an Echo Indigo IO and my HD650s.
It is a little disappointing that the only way to get good sound is to disable some of the main features of my laptop before I sit down for a listening session.
Working and researching now on putting a listening only rig together. This forum is working real hard on putting my wallet into “vapor lock”.
