I've been using Zu speaker cables, interconnects and power cords for a while now. It's all proven to be very good stuff. Hopefully they'll produce a kick ass replacement for the Senns. May have to hang onto my 580s until I can check it out.

UPDATE:

AS of 7/22

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you and thanks for your interest. We were hoping to go to market with this product last week but, we have been struggling a bit with the pin and an injection molded body. Looks like we may have to machine the ear piece interface, and since we have had an increased window of launch we have been working with some new cable designs to bring flexibility up as well as sonic performance. We think we will have it ready to go mid August.

Thanks again,

Sean

Man, everyone is jumping on the HD580/600 cable bandwagon.

One thing for sure, I just got the cardas replacement and it's one sweet upgrade. Works for everything, my PC audio sounds better just as this meridian 507 demo does ;p

Cheers,

This is very interesting news... I'm a satisfied user of their OxyFuel ICs, Pivot mini to mini & mini to RCA ICs, and their ASH digital Coax. They're good people and you can really save a few bucks grabbing their offerings on eBay or off their promo page...

Maybe someone should suggest to them that they attempt to comeup with a K1000 cable?
