Ive heard a fair bit of imports, and the Aussie built speakers beats them all with a large margin and a far lower cost.
E.g. check out www.equinoxaudio.com.au and www.legendspeakers.com.au
I own a pair of Kama2's from Legend and a pair of Pluto's from Equinox. I love my Kama2's. They are extremely neutral but being sealed, the bass doesnt roll off as fast as with ported cabinets.
Im thinking of upgrading my excellent Redgum amp to the even more excellent but more expensive ME amps.
If you are looking for a mid upmarket amp, you might be able to snatch the Redgum off me
Its gonna be an easy sale on Ebay anyways.
I checked out the Jupiter from Equinox while audition the Pluto's and my first thought were, jeese these are HUGE and sounds so darn nice
. Wish I had that kinda money.
