Aful Performer Impressions Thread

One last question what ear tips would be recommended for the P8s, I like the moondrop spin fits.
I asked this question three pages back, loads of good recommendations, I'm currently using SpinFIT C145 Medium, I found the stock tips unusable, no seal and too hard.

Regarding tips I've been using the Whizzer ET100's today, I think the P8's definitely benefit from a wider bore size, better soundstage and treble.

You guys worry about 'gunk' getting in the tubes? I'm guessing there are no Mesh for these?

Don't you guys clean your ears like everyday or at least once a week?

I'm sure most people clean but you are still prone to having ear wax work its way out now and again, that is natural process.

Still loving my P8’s. Stock cable, stock tips, and just an Apple type C to 3.5mm dongle with my iPhone or my M1 MacBook Air headphone jack at 6-12% volume.

Super simple but sounds really great.

Pretty much the same here. They need so little power to shine.

Of all the things, I have literally no interest in buying another iem at the moment. I feel like 'unless I spend £500-£1000" I'll probably not notice much difference.

Same. I think they are the best sounding thing I own, including my Focal Elear with Clear pads. I still like them and I also still like my Etymotic ER4SR, but I prefer the P8 over both. I find them to have the perfect frequency response, tons of detail, and good imaging and stage. And it’s really convenient that they only need less than 15% on an Apple Type C dongle.

I have no idea what the next logical upgrade would be or what it would cost, and I don’t care.

I switched from the 7Hz Timeless Æ to the P8… no regrets.

Everyone has their preferences.

I have owned the Quintet in the past but I found them a touch bright for my taste. Would you say the P8 is less bright?

I loved the P8 but I was not crazy about the bass...just felt it was missing something....
