Hi guys

I got myself a quite new Sennheiser HD 600 headphones. They come with stock cable.

Aftermarkets cable seem very expensive. What is the best value/buck cable upgrade for the stock HD 600? Is the original Senn HD-650 cable a good upgrade, or is it actually the same cable with thicker plastic?

Any other 'cheap' ideas?

I have tried an aftermarket cable (headphile) for my 600's and imo it may be better to spend that money on a better source (I am not familiar with your soundcard, I made a jump from an emu 0404 to an ack dack and it was a very nice upgrade). Acks go used for about the price of a good aftermarket cable.

I'm not saying the cable doesnt change sound, but I didnt have a chance to A/B it with the stock cable.
