After a few days of reading reviews and what not I've narrow down my search to the Audio-Technica ATH-ADG1 and the Philips SHP9500 with a VModa Mic. I'm having problems deciding on which to get so if anyone can help me decide I would appreciate it. I am also open to other headsets or headphones compatible with the VModa Mic around a $200 price range. I'd prefer open ear because the majority agree it is better for PC gaming. Thank you very much.

If your ears stick out of your head more than average person, you'll want to skip the SHP9500 which has fairly shallow earpads - so your ears would touch the baffle which would most likely be uncomfortable quite quickly.
If you've got average ears, then it should be a non-issue.
