Hi everyone! I am a new user to head-fi but i am in no way new to the world of Head-fi. However, I must confess that I have fallen out of the loop the past year or so. 
 
I will be using the iMod hooked up to a protector to power a set of JH-13pros balanced via TWag v2 cable. 
 
I have read that the blackgate caps in the docks take a while to sound good - upwards of 500hours, while VCaps docks take about 200 hours of burn in to sound good. 
 
My question is this, how does the burned in VCap dock compare to the blackgate caps. 
 
I am fully aware that this question is subjective, but id like to hear user's opinions about this topic.

Bumping this up as I'm interested in this also. I'm trying to decide whether I should shell out the cash for a vcap dock. Right now I have a dock with cerafine caps and it seems pretty good to me, however if vcaps are that much more amazing I may take the plunge. How big of a difference do vcaps make and how do they compare with other caps (other than their size)?
