For Hi-fi (but not headphones) I like Steve Hoffman's Forums, The Vinyl Anachronist, and 6 moons There are others that I visit (e.g. Audiogon), but not as frequently.

For music, I prefer I Love Music.

No, really. There's only a few headphones and amps reviewed, but I like his snarky, Australian style.

And he seems to like the HD280s.

But still no substitute for Head-Fi.

Head-fi is my favorite for overall headphone and portable audio info.

However there's plenty of decent sites out there for individual hardware.

A couple examples that come to mind are misticriver.net and iaudiophile.net.

headfi forums are my 2nd choice but first for fun; my first is h-navi as far as a sort of forum is concerned but for specific phones, i go to neither.

headfi and
h-navi fulfill general requirements for reviews etc for me.

I admire CNET's website but, in all reality, their writing leaves something (much) to be desired. Though not as bad as, say, Gizmodo, I wouldn't exactly call their reviewers professional; even if they do get paid.

Regardless, I visit CNET just about everyday, as nothing else has such a wide span of up to date tech information.

Agreed. First place I visit when I want to find about a CD's mastering.
