After using my klipsch promedia ultra 2.0 speakers for 3 months, I headed home this past weekend and used my ancient speakers and boy, the difference is obvious!

and yes, I also realize how bad the ipod buds are...

yeah i couldnt believe i use to use those 10$ sony earbuds after getting my a-500's. then i couldnt believe i used to think the a-500s were nice sounding after recieving my 701's. lets hope it ends there though

The same happened to me with cables. I was hoping the difference would be small because that's how I remembered it when I made the upgrade, but NO! The difference was bigger than ever!

Your ears keep adjusting to the new sound for months or even years after you made an upgrade.
