After 2 and a half years, I finally pulled the trigger on some RS-1s

Yeh! It's a wonderful feeling to finally put those wooden cups over your ears!

When I first got wind of those wooden Grados, I said I would never have them, but with time comes utter fulfilment!!

I like mine with Earmax tubes and an open-spatious sounding source. GS-1000 doesn't sound too interersting to me... Supposedly less in your head sounding than the RS1 with a lot of bass.

Hi Kramer..

so you got the Earmax!! Liking it I see, what tubes are utilizing? Just curious, have a modded Earmax myself, and it pushes the crap out of my K 701's and RS-1's!!

Right on man! And now (in the spirit of Head-Fi) you can afford a nice amp to go along with 'em for what you'd be spending on the GS1000 alone. The RS-1 is a fantastic headphone. Enjoy it!
