Dear all

I need an affordable source with balanced output. I am a NVH engineer working on the sound quality. At work, I have Sennheiser Eletrostatic headphones with appropriate amp. I am hoping to get a source to play some of my CD's. The problem is the amp only has balanced input. I don't have any CDP or DAC with balanced output. I looked at some CDP's with balanced outputs and almost all of them are out of my price range. I am hoping to spend less than $300 for this. Do I have a chance?

Thanks,
Jibra

The CEC 3300 is only $500 from Audio Advisor, the cheapest balanced player I have ever seen.

Not sure how it sounds though, I'm interested in checking one out myself.

A source with a balanced output might be had over at Audiogon. Look around for some used CDPs there and see if you can find one in your price range.
