Ok... here's the reply. As expected it's the biggest expense of the project.

All Lundahls are made to order so we don't stock these types, but can have them made for you. Delivery time is about 6 weeks at the moment.
LL2758 = £146
LL2742 = £85
LL1667 x 2 = £160
LL2765 x 2 = £198
LL1638 housing x 3 = £168
Delivery £20
Total + VAT = £932.40

Just note that Lundahl makes different variants of each transformer and choke model for different standing DC currents, so make sure you include the current ratings when you place the order (e.g., L1667 5mA, LL2765 60mA).

Yeah, I pasted the details from your spreadsheet with part numbers and the current ratings etc. I’ll be sure to include them with the order when I’m ready to go ahead 👍🏻

For those in mainland Europe I can wholeheartedly recommend reaching out to http://www.acoustic-dimension.com/ for the Lundahl transformers, Jupiter capacitors and premium quality small parts.

@Tom-s is a very experienced DIYer, he was able to build the amp with just some photos and a draft of the BOM. It was a big help getting some feedback from him, so thanks Tom!

Let's talk impressions and tube rolling, Tom! :) Love the blue chassis. I was debating to keep it black or go a little wild. I split the difference a bit.

I plan on creating a vector image for engraving the chassis on mine.

@L0rdGwyn I would like to add a "Designed by L0rdGwyn" engraving on the back of the chassis; is there any other way you'd like for me to credit you or is your head-fi handle the right way to go?

Head-Fi handle works for me! It's also my handle on every audio forum I have an account on. Thanks for thinking to do that.

Hello,

I’d like to preface my message with a huge thank you to @L0rdGwyn for his extreme generosity in sharing his time and knowledge with the rest of the community.

I’ve been following this thread for the past few months and it’s awesome to finally have all the paperwork and PCB files available.

I’m from Spain and, after reading the BOM file, I reached Brian from ELMA by email since that output switch might be one of the hardest parts to acquire for those of us out of the USA.

Today I got this reply:

“Pricing for (1) of the part number CAS002059 / (US-B2-403N) is $122.99. Plus shipping costs. I won’t know shipping charges until it’s ready to ship. Are you able to issue a purchase order (PO) for this part number?”

“We accept all major credit cards without any additional fees. Our policy is to get the credit card information over the phone. Our shipping terms are EXW Origin. Please have both payment terms and shipping terms stated on the PO. Also, we can pre pay and add shipping to the invoice or you can use your own account. If this is non-taxable please include a copy of your tax exemption / re-sale certificate. I can help process your order when you are ready. Thank you!”

I’m afraid I’m a little more experienced with the soldering iron than doing international commerce with manufacturers, and haven’t filled a purchase order in my life.

If anybody with more experience could provide some guidance or if a group buy is set up to ease the process as @miter53 suggested, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Purchase Order looks like an Invoice, listing the items ordered. Simplify, instead of an invoice where a vendor asks for payment, a PO is you asking to order items. In B2B transactions this is a business committing to the purchase so the vendor can manufacture the items.

His language suggests he’s used to business customers..
