Just come back from a trip to London where I had a chance to see and feel (not listen to, sadly) the VK1 in all 3 of its finishes)make mine the Classic) and they certainly are stunning in the flesh. Cant imagine a more beautiful pair of headphones in terms of style and build. A work of art. If they sound just 1/2 as good as they look then they must be amazing. I better start saving

A tight compact midrange sound with solid bass & treble and balanced...but a small soundstage

Vk1- Don't see much love for these at Headfi. They've been reviewed v well elsewhere and they're now $350...and they look stunning. Are they worth it? I'm considering the Legacy or Carbons.
