Hey guys, I'm a swimmer and over the years have gotten slightly frustrated with my lack of an ability to listen to music while swimming. There are a few waterproof wireless earbuds but they are pretty far out of my price range and I've started to think about making my own.
So my question is, what do you think that the best way of transmitting the sound from my ipod to the earbuds is? I've looked into radio transmitters and bluetooth but I'm not sure about which would be cheaper/smaller and most of the DIY guides out there are for making wireless over ear headphones which are obviously too bulky to swim in. At this point I'm thinking of radio, I've seen a guide on how to make the transmitter component but I'm not sure about how to go about attaching a radio receiver to the earbuds.
Any advice/suggestions would be awesome, thanks in advance
